Once in a while Radincon activities get some media mentions! Here are the ones we know about.
(If you know of any press mentions we missed, share them with us!)
We support Sydney Zoo’s regular health checks on all their animals. Here’s some footage of a big big cat getting checked out. You can see Radincon’s Jim Woods assisting with the radiography, as well as some of the images it captured.
Spot the Radincon equipment videobombing this interview with The Cruel Sea vocalist Tex Perkins about WildAid 2023 – the concert he organised in support of Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital after previously approved government funding was withdrawn. We’re proud to do our bit supporting the Hospital and love that others are doing the same!
45 year old Santan is actually 75 in orangutan years – and arthritic!
As a very special resident of Sydney Zoo, he received treatment from human orthopaedic surgeon Paul Thornton-Bott, using Radincon equipment for diagnosis. 9 News came along to film the whole thing.
Check out the complete video here.
Radincon sponsored this 220km endurance ride, which took place on 29 July 2023 as a fundraiser for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Angel Flight.
The timing of the event, just after the Tom Quilty Gold Cup, saw many participants wearing their Tom Quilty bibs, which coincidentally we also sponsored! Great to see our brand on the ABC.

The ride was also featured on LeaderToday, a local news site owned by Central Queensland Media.
Here’s a shot of Raja, Australia’s oldest Sumatran tiger, having his paw x-rayed as part of his health check. At Radincon we’re proud to assist Sydney Zoo with the care of all their animals.
